Tribune Interactive Invests in boodle™'s Online Grocery Coupon Marketplace
SAN DIEGO (January 31, 200) — Consumer Networks today announced that Tribune Interactive, a division of Tribune Company (NYSE:TRB), has completed a strategic investment in Consumer Networks’ boodle™ division. boodle gives retailers and media companies a way to deliver secure and targeted coupon offers to millions of consumers from well-known manufacturers such as General Mills, SC Johnson, General Electric and Kimberly-Clark. In addition, TI has entered into a long-term distribution agreement with boodle, bringing the online coupon marketplace to the Web sites of Tribune’s daily newspapers.

Through the distribution agreement between boodle and TI, boodle will be available through the Web sites of Tribune’s daily newspapers, including latimes.com, chicagotribune.com, and newsday.com.
